Mountain Biking Around Both Lakes - May 31, 2008

Mountain Bicycling Around Both Lakes We started at the Colorado Trail on the southeast end of the lower lake.

There is the one and only Stephen Naegele, one of my riding buddies on this beautiful day.

As you might notice, we traveled clockwise around the lakes. Here is a very pretty view of an open field with mountains.

We crossed a bunch of creeks before reaching the Willis Gulch Trail spur.

And we rested at this beautiful overlook. The village of Twin Lakes can be seen to the left.

We crossed Lake Creek at the bridge and traveled back on Highway 82 to the village.

The Colorado Trail picks up off the highway before (west) of the pumping station. It was just over 14 miles to go around both lakes. We had a great time! :)
